En esta Navidad, uno de sus 60 espacios parquizados y áreas verdes, el Parque Ibirapuera, una suerte de oasis para disfrutar del aire libre, ofrece un espectáculo sorprendente: El tradicional árbol de Navidad, de más de 40 metros de altura, 15 metros de diámetro y con más de 250 objetos decorativos. Es considerado uno de los más significativos junto con el tradicional árbol del Rockefeller Center en Nueva York.
A comienzos de diciembre la enorme estructura que los paulistas disfrutan fotografiar se ilumina junto a los deseos de quienes visitan el gigantesco parque considerado el pulmón verde de Sao Paulo. Para recrear una mágica y encantadora a atmósfera navideña se suman al diseño más de dos millones de luces LED que decoran la copas de los árboles que rodean el principal lago de este colosal parque, obra del prestigioso arquitecto Oscar Niemeyer.
Para esta celebración, el espejo de agua se aprovecha para la proyección de diversas imágenes alegóricas a la Navidad y al caer la noche el lugar es visitado por cientos de personas que disfrutan del asombroso juego de luces. El árbol se montó por primera vez en el 2000 y desde entonces es esperado por vecinos y turistas.
Los visitantes disponen de cuatro puntos para tomarse la selfie de rigor, la imagen que todos quieren compartir en sus redes.La escena que brindan las luces de colores y la naturaleza del lugar recrean un espacio para contemplar, respirar hondo, compartir con los seres queridos y soñar mirando la gigantesca estrella que decora la punta de ese árbol, el árbol que cumple deseos.

At the beginning of December, the enormous structure that São Paulo natives enjoy photographing is illuminated along with the wishes of those who visit the gigantic park considered the green lung of Sao Paulo. To recreate a magical and charming Christmas atmosphere, more than two million LED lights are placed to the design that decorate the treetops that surround the main lake of this colossal park, the work of prestigious architect Oscar Niemeyer.
